The best parts of summer are collecting seashells on the beach and reading a book outside in a hammock.
Taking day trips to visit cool places in the area. I love to pick up lunch and head to the Rocks with a good book. Plus, DC is so close and the museums are usually free to get in!

I agree that it's terrific being so close to DC. I love going down there and doing some things that may be considered off the beaten path. Anyone ever visited the Botanical Gardens? It is a lovely side trip if you are visiting the Capitol!!
