BlogaBook is a book discussion and recommendation site. The contributors to Blogabook are staff of Harford County Public Library. Harford County readers come here to find recommendations for good reads to be found in the HCPL catalog. Posts include staff picks, book world news, awards, author profiles, short genre and themed reading lists, book group tips and recommendations, and readers’ recommendations. BlogaBook is a good place to find out what others are reading and to share a comment.

I'm Elizabeth, the Editor of Readers Place, the Harford County Public Library reader's advisory web page. To cut through the library jargon, that means that I try to hook our library customers up with good things to read that I think they will like. One way to more or less guarantee you will like a book is to read something that someone you know has recommended. That's why I think you will find it useful to take a peek at what our librarians have recommended to their book groups. If this blog takes off, you should also be able to see what book group members, and other readers, have said about the choices. It's so rewarding sharing your reading experiences! I hope in the end to create an online book discussion. Above all, I hope everyone has fun!
