Library Makes a Splash on 98 Rock

Librarian, Jamie Watson and Marketing Manager, Janine Lis, were interviewed on the 98 Rock radio station this morning. Check out the podcast of their interview. The hosts were gracious but the biggest laugh for us was all the surprises. The DJ hosts were constantly saying:

"You have drive thru's? You have video games? You have DVDs for free? You have gaming consoles? You have the kind of music we play on 98 Rock?" Yes, guys, we have it all! We'll be waiting for that visit to the Fallston Branch! And yes, librarians rock!

Computers for Seniors and Others

HCPL has a great tradition of offering computer instruction to customers of all ages. Our Aberdeen branch runs a special class for Seniors every Wednesday (you must register as there is limited seating) and many of our branches offer ""Walk-in" computer instruction, which is one-on-one help when you need it most - in the moment! In addition, by just calling ahead, anyone can set up computer instruction by appointment at all of our branches.
