Winter Reading Program 2008

The HCPL Winter Reading Program (WRP) is drawing to a close. With only 10 days left, there is a flurry of activity of readers complete their 5 books (only 3 for teens) and come by a branch to receive their bonus, a great HCPL WRP branded note cube. We have found that many readers didn't realize that any books they have read since January 1st count, so even if you sign up today, you can still participate fully in the program.

The theme this year, Run Wild, Read has generated a lot of press and the number of readers in each branch has been great. Don't miss out! Be a part of the Harford County Public Library and share your reads with us.

Also, keep your eye on the Readers Place... our special zone for readers and reading. We'll be unveiling a great new service shortly called My Next Good Book. This is going to be great fun as readers can talk with each other about their reads, recommend good books, and create book lists with all the reviews and book jackets attached.
