Summer Programs at the Library

In conjunction with the Summer Reading Program, the library has extensive array of special programs through the summer months. Coming up this week are Bruce Hutton with his program called "Word of Mouth Meets Written Word" - a wild foray into folk stories and songs from around the country. There's still time to see Bruc in Bel Air, Darlington, Norrsiville or Joppa (but please call for ticket availability).

We also have Tracey Eldridge with her American Road Trip show. There are two more performances on June 30th in Aberdeen and Edgewood and then one show much later in July in the Havre de Grace Branch. Tracey's upbeat show has been very popular with the entire family.

For some of the teens, they might want to come out to meet Annette Klause, the author of Blood and Chocolate. This popular story about a girl who transforms into a wolf and eventually falls in love with a human-boy... how is that going to work out. This novel is set here in Maryland.
