Volunteer to be a Gallery Guide

A Letter to Volunteers — more information (pdf)
Volunteer Application (pdf)

Would you enjoy talking to people and sharing information about art and history during the fascinating World War I era? If so, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!

We invite you to become an exhibit volunteer! We plan to have trained exhibit guides, or ‘docents,’ available at both locations to either answer questions, provide 20 minute tours, help with tracking visitors or selling the exhibit book.

Training will be held for exhibit guides on Saturday, March 6 at the Bel Air Branch from 10:00am – 1:30pm. You will meet Allison Hays Lane, Curator and Project Organizer from San Antonio Texas, who promises us a fun, interactive and educational session with a surprise presentation to ‘get us in the mood of the World War I era.’ This is a once in a lifetime event for Harford County and we know you’ll enjoy participating. We truly appreciate your interest and welcome your offer to help.
