Want to Help Us? ... Volunteer at the Library

Get Wild About ReadingSpecial Thanks to our 2008 Summer Reading Program Volunteers

Harford County Public Library uses middle and high school volunteers to help with our annual Summer Reading Programs. This year's theme was Wild About Reading. These volunteers will register children, explain the program, and assist with other related duties.

How to Become a Volunteer next year:

  • Pick up application materials at the Information Desk of your local branch in the spring.
  • Register and attend a required training session.
  • Be willing to work an average of 3 hours per week June to the end of August.
